About BL 2

Why is it that buttered toast always seems to fall on the floor buttered side down? The Mythbusters even tried this one in an episode.

Does this really always happen?

Try this experiment and find out!

Loaf of bread

~~Make a chart label one side “butter up” and the other “butter down”

~~Toast all the bread

~~Butter the toast

*Hint try buttering half while the toast is warm and the other half when it has had a chance to cool down.

Do you think it will make a difference?

~~Hold toast out at arms length and drop it

~~Which side hit the floor?

~~Make a mark on your chart for each one you do

~~Did they all land buttered side down?
