18 slices Bread
1/2 Fruit preserves (raspberry
is good)
1 tsp. Vanilla
½ cup Sour cream
1 pkg. Cream cheese
6 Eggs
¼ cup half and half or milk
1 ½ tsp cinnamon
Powdered sugar
Griddle (or pan)
Mix cream cheese and sour cream
until smooth
Spread about 2 – 3 tablsp.
On each slice of bread
Mix vanilla and preserves
Spread over cream cheese mixture
on 9 slices
Top with remaining bread (cream
cheese side down)
In a bowl mix eggs, milk (or
half and half), and cinnamon
Dip both sides of sandwich in
egg mixture
Cook until golden brown
Cut in half
Sprinkle powder sugar and fresh
fruit or (fruit) syrup
