Taco Salad (text)

Ingredients:

2lbs Ground beef

2 Taco seasoning

16oz Sour cream

2- 16oz shredded Cheese

1 Onion

1 head Lettuce

3 Avocados

3 Tomatoes

Sm. Taco bowl / corn tortillas

Salsa

Tortilla chips

Directions:

Make ahead of time—adult only

Brown ground beef

Add taco seasoning according to package directions

Taco bowls – pre-made or

Place corn tortillas over a metal bowl (upside down) or empty can

Place in oven (350*) and cook until crisp. Or cook in a pot of oil using a can or other method to form bowl shape

Cut up onion, tomatoes, avocados, and lettuce

Put together with lettuce and meat first then follow in any order

1 taco bowl

Add ¼ c lettuce

Add ¼ c taco meat

Add Onion

Add Cheese

Add Avocado

Add Tomato

Add a spoonful of Sour cream

Add Tortilla chip

If you decide to have all ingredients prepared ahead of time place in bowls in center of table or in an assembly line style.

So children can put together their own taco salad
